The nearest airport was conveniently far enough to have a relaxing journey. The free private parking being onsite was just perfect, because who doesn't love the thrill of searching for parking in a new city? I also enjoyed the option of smoking on the balcony, it made me feel so rebellious.
Such a pity that I had to be extra cautious climbing the stairs with my heavy bags, I mean, who needs intact pottery when you're carrying luggage, right?

The host at this homestay went above and beyond to make our stay mind-blowing! The delicious food, spacious and clean room, and super friendly owner made us feel at home. The unique and beautiful design of the homestay was jaw-dropping. The location was perfect, offering a taste of local life while still being close to cafes and a short ride to the Old Quarter. The nearby lake was also a hidden gem. We felt like VIP guests with the great amenities provided, including Wi-Fi, AC, and a flat-screen TV. Our stay here was non-smoking, and the luggage storage and laundry service were very convenient. We hope to keep in touch with our amazing hosts for the future!

The room was spacious and had a nice balcony. The location was convenient, close to delicious food, supermarkets, and museums. One advantage was the artistic ambiance, with the townhouse filled with Vietnamese paintings, ceramics, and antiques. The owners were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home.
The bed was a little firmer than what I'm used to, but it wasn't a major issue.

The homestay is conveniently located in the center of the city, close to old town, making it easy to explore the vibrant surroundings on foot. Guests have mentioned that the rooms are large, comfortable, and clean, providing a cozy atmosphere for a pleasant stay. the owner is friendly and helpful, offering tips about Hanoi and ensuring that guests feel welcome throughout their stay.
The floor drain in the toilet may occasionally be problematic, but it is a minor issue that could be easily resolved.

The rooms at Tonkin Homestay are cozy and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring Hanoi. The air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi throughout the property made our stay even more pleasant. We loved having access to the shared kitchen, small garden on the 6th floor, and living room where we could mingle with the host and other guests. The private bathroom with a shower in each room was convenient and provided everything we needed. Having a flat-screen TV with cable channels in our room was a nice addition, allowing us to unwind and watch some shows before bed. The location of Tonkin Homestay in Hanoi was great, allowing us to easily explore the city's attractions. It was a nice touch to have a kettle in the room, so we could enjoy a hot cup of tea whenever we wanted. The single room's kitchenette, tile/marble floor, and dining area provided all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
Personally, I found the small living room a bit crowded when there were many guests, but some people might enjoy the lively atmosphere.
